RUNS were no issue as Connah's Quay maintained their promising Division One start with victory over Pontblyddyn.
More than 500 runs were scored as third-placed Quay claimed a 69-run success after they managed to set an imposing 292 for eight. Joshua Clarke hit a sparkling 163, before Pontblyddyn's response was halted on 223.
Northop Seconds continue to lead the way on the back of their nine-wicket triumph versus Brymbo Seconds.
Tom Sudder claimed a brilliant six for 22 return as Brymbo were all out for 92 and Darren Williams' 42 helped Northop to 93 for one.
Mold lost out by 61 runs at home to second-placed Bethesda, whose 45 overs yielded 248 for five.
Nicholas Parry (113) and Daniel Oshyer (56 not out) were the leading lights, as skipper Isaac Allen picked up two wickets.
Thomas North (54) and Richard Crane (42) were the top scorers in Mold's 187 (Craig Newey 4-47).
Hawarden Park prevailed by 12 runs in a low-scoring encounter at Abergele.
Campbell Marr (24) led the way in Park's 109 all out (Rana Das 4-16).
This proved enough for victory, as Abergele's chase was ended on 97 (Lewis Tolond 34). Marr claimed four for 20.
Buckley made sure of a five-wicket success at Halkyn, who set 167 for eight (Nabeel Khan 75, Lee Taylor 3-37).
Opener Alex Storey (65) helped Halkyn to a winning 168 for five with two overs to spare. Gareth Thomas picked up two wickets.
Elsewhere, Dolgellau got the better of Conwy by 52 runs.
