Two young boxers from Denbigh & District Amateur Boxing Club recently competed in the Welsh Box Cup 2024.
The annual event, organised by the Welsh Amateur Boxing Association, draws top amateur boxers nationwide, providing a platform for competitors to display their skills.
One of the club's promising talents, Jayden Jones, exhibited remarkable resilience in his debut bout.
Despite an outstanding performance, he did not secure the win.
However, Mr Jones' commendable efforts and sportsmanship earned him invaluable experience.
Meanwhile, Seth Evans, another emerging star from the club, clinched the title in the 57kg junior category.
Mr Evans secured victories in a three challenging fights - two by unanimous decision and one by stoppage.
The Denbigh & District Amateur Boxing Club that they are "immensely proud of both Jayden and Seth for their performances at the Welsh Box Cup 2024."
They also added: "Their achievements highlight the strength and potential of our young athletes and inspire others in our community."
The club also acknowledged their sponsors, Jones Brothers, for their ongoing support, stating: "Their contributions have been invaluable to our success."
For anyone interested in training with Denbigh & District Amateur Boxing Club they have said they hold training sessions at Cai Dai, next to the Cai Dai 1950s Museum, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
