Clwb Criced Y Bala Women’s cricket team have made history, playing their debut match against Gresford Cricket Club.
Despite an intense game, Gresford secured the win.
Bala's Emma Storey claimed the team's first-ever wicket, while Gwawr Edwards took a wicket and a catch.
This game signifies a big leap for Clwb Criced Y Bala, a club that was created in 1868.
The club ceased activity in 2014 due to a volunteer shortage but was re-established in 2022 by Jason Jones and a group of sport enthusiasts.
