Denbigh Harriers enjoyed good performances in the Cilcain Mountain Race and the Mid-Cheshire 5km.
On bank holiday Monday, Tony Wood had a remarkable run in the Mountain Race, finishing 13th in 35.34 minutes and representing North Wales in the event, which was part of the Welsh Athletics Senior Inter-Regional Mountain Running Championships.
Other runners included were Daniel Jones 27th (38:12), John Davies 34th (39:18), Dafydd Evans 41st (41:03), Emily Retallick 70th (43:26), Paul Fitzimmonds 109 (46:46), Adam McDonnell 114 (47:11), Melina Morris 119th (47:44), Elen Baugh 130th (48:42).

Last month four Harriers donned red Welsh vests for the Wales vs England Mid-Cheshire 5km event.
Joanne Henderson, running her first 5km race, clocked 18.32 minutes, while Mark Watling and Emma Collins crossed the line at 20.17 minutes and 21.36 minutes, respectively.
Menai Baugh, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, finished in a respectful 29.11 minutes.
