Ruthin Golf Club triumphed in the annual Garter Match against Wrexham Golf Club.
The mixed greensome matchplay event, held on Sunday, September 29, saw Ruthin retain the trophy with a convincing 8.5 to 1.5 victory.
The teams managed to complete all matches before the rain began.

Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, September 25, a midweek Texas Scramble competition was held.
The winning team was made up of Catherine Parton, Anna Davies, and Liz Price, who scored a total of 59.
In second place were Ann Ellis Davies, Nia Wynn Davies, and Carey Kearns, with a score of 64.
