Denbigh Dragons Swimming Club had a successful outing at the Swim Wales Regional Development Meet on Sunday, October 13.

The club sent 11 members to Llandudno, with Tomos Owen (10) participating in his very first competitive meet.

Seren Rowles (16) shone brightly, winning four Gold Medals in the 50M and 100M Backstroke, 100M Breaststroke, and 100M Freestyle.

Saoirse McDonnell (10) also excelled, achieving three Gold Medals in the 50M and 100M Butterfly, along with 50M Freestyle.

She secured a Silver Medal in the 200M Freestyle and a Bronze Medal in the 200M Individual Medley.

Elenid Parry (11) claimed two Silver Medals in the 100M Butterfly and 100M Freestyle.

Lilly Gage (15) earned a Silver Medal in the 50M Freestyle and a Bronze Medal in the 50M Butterfly.

The remaining team members included Mared Parry (13), Eilidh McDonnell (9), Isabelle Owen (11), Leila Ashbrook (11), Max Lucas (9), and Niamh Vernon (11).

Overall, the team secured 18 top-10 finishes and achieved 17 personal best times.

A smaller group of Dragons, including Elsie Croft (11), Isabelle Owen (11), Seren Rowles (16), and Olivia Bexon (15), competed at the Swim Conwy Autumn Meet on the weekend of October 19 and 20.

They achieved a total of eight personal best times and five top 10 placements.
